The Shadow - IB Chase Scene

Brief reflection :
We had to make a short film of a chase scene. For this task i worked with Sravya. She was the cinematographer and i was the editor. We both came up with the story line together and what kind of shots we should film.
As an editor, i had to be in charge of putting all the clips together for it to run smoothly, and not jump from clip to clip, as well as ensuring the sound is the right level, and find a soundtrack for the video. It was harder than i thought as there were some clips i liked but just did not properly have a smooth transition. There were also times where i wished we would have filmed more of the same shot as it would have made it easier for me, since some shots were blury. We had to film 3 days. The first day we shot in a different location. The second day we filmed in tung chung, however, the battery ran out and we had to film another day.
For me, it was tough finding a good soundtrack to the film, and although i found a few, i didnt feel it matched it.
If i was to do it again, i would start the chasing earlier, as it only gets interesting from there, and make the pace faster through out the film.
overall i thought Sravya and I worked well together, and our actors listened to us and did what we asked for.
